Patriots cut Bobby Carpenter, other moves

The New England Patriots released all of their roster moves for Saturday. It included the previous reported trade of former St. Louis Rams receiver Greg Salas and their full practice squad.
But first, New England made another surprising release of linebacker Bobby Carpenter. He had done well as a reserve linebacker and special teamer. Carpenter initially made the 53-man cut on Friday but couldn’t survive the weekend.
The Patriots claimed offensive lineman Matt Tennant off waivers to add depth to their struggling offensive line. Also, here is a look at New England's practice squad:
