Morning take: Are the Jets legit?

Here are the most interesting stories Wednesday in the AFC East: Morning take: The Jets answered some questions but certainly not all of them. A Week 2 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers will be a more accurate measuring stick. If the Jets go into Pittsburgh and get a win, they are legit.
Morning take: New England only has two quarterbacks on the roster, Tom Brady and Ryan Mallett. One injury could put the Patriots in the market, so it’s good to know what’s out there.
Morning take: Ford is headed for surgery and could be out for a while. That’s one less problem for the Dolphins secondary.
  • Buffalo Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick says the loss to the Jets was a wake-up call.
Morning take: Was Buffalo reading its offseason press clippings? It doesn’t matter now. The Bills need to get focused quickly to avoid a 0-2 start Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.
