Here are the most interesting stories Sunday in the AFC East:
The Buffalo Bills will need a solid running game and good defense to stop the Kansas City Chiefs.
Morning take: Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick got a lot of blame, but Buffalo’s defense also was shaky in Week 1. Both have to step up to get the Bills back to .500.
The Arizona Cardinals should be near full strength today against the New England Patriots.
Morning take: The Cardinals’ biggest injury is at quarterback, where starter John Skelton (ankle) is sidelined. Even with Skelton, the Cardinals don’t have much of a chance in this one.
Backup running back Joe McKnight could play cornerback against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Morning take: McKnight has the athleticism, but can he cover? Pittsburgh has a bevy of receivers, so we may find out.
Can the Miami Dolphins re-establish a home-field advantage against the Oakland Raiders?
Morning take: Miami was awful at home the past couple of seasons until the team got going late last year. The Dolphins need to win home games like this one to build some confidence.
