Here are the most interesting stories Wednesday in the AFC East:
  • Should the New York Jets run quarterback Tim Tebow more this week?
Morning take: Yes, this is why the Jets acquired Tebow. He was virtually shelved last weekend against Pittsburgh. Expect to see Tebow more against the Miami Dolphins.
  • Speaking of the Dolphins, Miami general manager Jeff Ireland will be graded by his draft picks.
Morning take: It's been hit-and-miss with Ireland. But the point is Miami isn't winning. Much of that now falls on the general manager who brought in the players.
Morning take: The Patriots are getting all hands on deck to make up for the loss of tight end Aaron Hernandez. Branch and tight end Kellen Winslow are two veterans who should help the offense get back on track.
  • Where do the Buffalo Bills rank in former coach Brian Billick's Power Rankings?
Morning take: Buffalo’s rank here is similar to where ESPN.com has the team. The Bills must win consistently to earn respect. They still attract plenty of naysayers.
