The Buffalo Bills are having poor luck with injuries to their running backs.
First, starting tailback Fred Jackson injured his knee in Week 1 and hasn’t returned. Now, C.J. Spiller hurt his shoulder in the first half against the Cleveland Browns. Spiller, the NFL's leading rusher entering Sunday, went to the locker room for X-rays and has yet to return. The Bills lead Cleveland, 14-0, in the second quarter.
If Spiller doesn't return, Buffalo is down to third-string tailback Tashard Choice against Cleveland. The most important thing is for Buffalo to leave Cleveland with a win and worry about Spiller’s injury later.
