Here are the most interesting stories Tuesday in the AFC East:
  • New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan has a lot of work ahead to continue winning without Pro Bowl cornerback Darrelle Revis.
Morning take: I've said all along that Ryan is a good coach. But losing Revis for the year is his biggest coaching challenge to date in New York. This is where Ryan will earn his money trying to make the Jets a playoff team.
Morning take: This was an improved unit through the first two weeks. Then, the Baltimore Ravens lit up the Patriots for 503 yards. The Patriots need to bounce back defensively Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.
Morning take: Sunday against Cleveland was the kind of performance you expect from the Bills' defensive line all season. They need to carry this momentum into future games.
Morning take: No one said rebuilding was going to be easy in coach Joe Philbin’s first year. But Miami is a competitive 1-2, and that’s pretty good for this group.
