It's been a rough two-week stretch for the New England Patriots. The reigning AFC champions were No. 1 in ESPN.com's Power Rankings after crushing the Tennessee Titans in the regular-season opener. But that was the last time New England won a game.
Here are this week’s full rankings for the AFC East:
The Jets continue to get little respect in the rankings. They are 2-1, in first place in the AFC East and remain in the bottom half of the rankings. The season-ending knee injury to cornerback Darrelle Revis has something to do with it. The Jets are not nearly the same team without Revis.
The Bills moved up three spots after winning their second game in a row. Buffalo beat two bad teams this season: Kansas City and Cleveland. But the Bills could get a lot more respect if they beat the Patriots Sunday at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
Finally, the Dolphins dropped three spots to No. 28. They had a good effort in an overtime loss to the Jets. But back-to-back road games against the Cardinals (3-0) and Cincinnati Bengals (2-1) doesn’t look good for Miami.
