Morning take: C.J. Spiller practices

Here are the most interesting stories Friday in the AFC East:
  • In a surprise move, Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller (shoulder) returned to practice in a limited role Thursday.
Morning take: Spiller isn’t expected to play but it appears he has an outside shot. The Bills will have Fred Jackson for sure.
Morning take: Every team would agree. The replacement idea was a fiasco, with Monday night’s blown call the lowlight.
Morning take: Was this a shot at tight end Rob Gronkowski of the rival Patriots? Ryan wouldn’t say a New England player was the best. He also snubbed Jimmy Graham of the New Orleans Saints.
Morning take: Miami came off a physical, overtime slugfest against the Jets. The most concerning injuries are to tailback Reggie Bush and starting corner Richard Marshall.
