Here are the most interesting stories Thursday in the AFC East:
  • It's rookie quarterback Andrew Luck against veteran Mark Sanchez when the Indianapolis Colts face the New York Jets.
Morning take: Luck is a great talent and a case can be made that he's already surpassed Sanchez. But Luck has a tough assignment seeing a Rex Ryan defense for the first time.
Morning take: Buffalo has some pieces but hasn's put it all together. Once both running backs were injured, the Bills' offense hasn't been the same.
Morning take: This is Thomas' second concussion this season, which is concerning. Rookie running back Lamar Miller will get more reps Sunday if Thomas can't play.
  • The New England Patriots worked out former Dolphins receiver Legedu Naanee.
Morning take: Miami didn't get anything out of Naanee. So this probably isn't a good idea.
