Here are the most interesting stories Tuesday in the AFC East:
  • New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan said his team is coming for the New England Patriots.
Morning take: The old Rex might be coming back for Patriots week. This always provides good quotes and entertainment, if nothing else.
Morning take: A 3-3 record says New England is average. But there’s no panic in New England. It’s a long season.
Morning take: Mark Anderson is out for an extended period. So Buffalo needs the depth. Merriman stayed in shape and was well-liked in the locker room.
  • Miami Dolphins starting cornerback Richard Marshall (back) expects to return after the bye week.
Morning take: The Dolphins can use more quality defensive backs. Pass defense is the most consistent weakness Miami has this season.
