The Buffalo Bills found a way to beat the Arizona Cardinals to get back to .500 this past Sunday. But it wasn’t due to big plays in the passing game.

Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is struggling with the deep ball this season. According to ESPN Stats & Information, Fitzpatrick is just 4-of-17 (23.5 percent) on passes 20 yards or more, which is 30th in the NFL. He also has thrown three interceptions trying to throw deep.

Fitzpatrick’s arm strength and deep accuracy have long been weaknesses. His inability to throw deep makes Buffalo’s passing game very limited.

Expect opponents to continue to focus on Bills running backs C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson, while defending the short passing game. Fitzpatrick's arm isn’t putting fear in defenses.
