I had a less-than-stellar Week 6, posting my first .500 week of the season. So I’m going to switch it up and post picks a little earlier this week in an effort to keep my quality overall record (17-4) going.
With the Miami Dolphins on a bye, we only have two games this week. Let’s get to it.
Tennessee Titans (2-4) at Buffalo Bills (3-3), Sunday at 1 p.m.
Skinny: On paper, Tennessee is a shaky opponent. But the Titans just beat the Pittsburgh Steelers and had 10 days to prepare for this game. Bills earn a tougher-than-expected win at home.
Pick: Bills, 20-17
New York Jets (3-3) at New England Patriots (3-3), Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET.
Skinny: Anything can happen in a rivalry game. The Jets will come into Gillette Stadium and play hard, but they just don't have the horses to keep up with the Patriots.
Pick: Patriots, 28-14
Last week: 2-2
Overall: 17-4
Comment: Still stellar.
