Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman became a national name this week by publicly taunting New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady after Seattle’s 24-23 victory. Sherman took the taunting to Twitter after the game and made headlines.
It’s been a few days since the event, but Brady didn’t have much to say about it.
"I don’t have any control over that. ... I had no feelings either way,” Brady said Wednesday during his news conference.
Sherman says he has no remorse for the taunting. But it’s time for both players to move on from this story.
The Patriots and Seahawks have big rivalry games upcoming against the Jets and 49ers, respectively. That should be the focus.
