Here are the most interesting stories Thursday in the AFC East:
Bills head coach Chan Gailey says Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans is critical for Buffalo’s season.
Morning take: The Bills are in danger of falling to 3-5 coming off the bye week. Buffalo needs to win this week or next week against the New England Patriots just to remain in contention.
Miami Dolphins tailback Reggie Bush says it’s too bad if New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie doesn’t like him.
Morning take: The Jets and Dolphins are still talking about each other? At least they won’t face each other again until next week.
Are the Jets having buyer’s remorse with backup quarterback Tim Tebow?
Morning take: There are trade rumors flying around, but I don’t expect anything to happen with Tebow. So far he has been more of a distraction to the Jets than an asset.
The New England Patriots released cornerback Sterling Moore.
Morning take: Moore was decent at the end of last season, but was mostly disappointing this year. The Patriots need someone to consistently step up in the secondary.
