Morning take: Patriots low on draft picks

November, 2, 2012
Here are the most interesting stories Friday in the AFC East:
  • After trading for cornerback Aqib Talib, the New England Patriots are without a draft choice in the fourth, fifth and sixth rounds in 2013.
Morning take: New England traded those picks for Talib, Albert Haynesworth and Chad Johnson. Haynesworth and Johnson didn’t pan out. The Patriots hope the third time is the charm.
  • The Buffalo Bills welcome back two starters on the offensive line for Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans.
Morning take: Buffalo will need it -- Houston’s dynamic defensive line, led by J.J. Watt, could give the Bills offense a lot of trouble.
  • Will New York Jets coach Rex Ryan ever figure out the Mark Sanchez-Tim Tebow dilemma?
Morning take: That is Ryan’s job. So far, Ryan’s methods aren’t working. Sanchez isn’t consistent and Tebow is a non-factor on offense.
Morning take: Both players are performing at a Pro Bowl level. Pouncey and Wake are two reasons the Dolphins (4-3) are in playoff contention.
