The Tennessee Titans, to be blunt, are an awful football team. Even their owner thinks so.

Tennessee was drilled last week by the Chicago Bears, 51-20. It was a pathetic showing that caught the attention of Titans owner Bud Adams, who says he will evaluate everything, including the general manager, coaches and players. That’s not a good situation to be in.

But the Miami Dolphins (4-4) cannot overlook this struggling Titans (3-5), who will limp into Sun Life Stadium on Sunday. This has all the makings of a trap game if the Dolphins aren’t careful.

The Titans are 3-6 but just good enough to pull off upsets if teams aren’t focused. Just ask the Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills. The Titans recently beat both teams when they least expected it.

Speaking of the Bills (3-5), the Dolphins will have a quick turnaround in Week 10. Miami will travel to play Buffalo on Thursday night. Two games in five nights presents a unique challenge the Dolphins must be ready for. Miami cannot overlook the lowly Titans in anticipation of facing a division rival.
