Here are the most interesting stories Sunday in the AFC East:
The Miami Dolphins will have a tough task trying to slow down the offense of the high-powered New England Patriots.
Morning take: Miami’s defense is solid against the run. But I do not like the matchup between New England’s passing game and Miami’s secondary. It could be a long day for the Dolphins’ defensive backs.
Patriots backup Trevor Scott could have a bigger role with the four-game suspension of defensive end Jermaine Cunningham.
Morning take: New England is thin at defensive end with Cunningham suspended and rookie Chandler Jones (ankle) injured. Scott is a veteran with plenty of experience who must step up.
New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan says the team's goal is to run the table in the final five weeks.
Morning take: New York should be thinking one game at a time. The Jets have an easy remaining schedule, but they are a mediocre team as well.
Buffalo Bills defensive end Chris Kelsay could miss more time with a neck injury.
Morning take: Neck injuries can be tricky. Kelsay re-aggravated the injury over the weekend and should probably take time off to get back to 100 percent.
