Here are the most interesting stories Thursday in the AFC East:
Will the New York Jets attempt to trade Mark Sanchez in the offseason?
Morning take: If the Jets gave up on Sanchez, I don’t see how another team would be willing to take on his guaranteed $8.25 million salary. I think New York is stuck with Sanchez for another year.
Buffalo Bills center Eric Wood plans to return for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins.
Morning take: Wood is an important part of the offense. But he has a history of leg injuries and I'm not sure it’s worth the risk. Buffalo is only playing for pride.
Injuries are starting to hit the Dolphins.
Morning take: Most teams would say it’s about time. The Dolphins have been fortunate with avoiding major injuries. They are just getting hit this late in the season.
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (shoulder) didn't practice Wednesday.
Morning take: It’s late in the season and this is probably a precautionary measure to keep Brady fresh. New England should consider resting more players in the final two games.
