For the second year in the row, the AFC East division will have just one team with a winning record.

The New England Patriots (11-4) are cruising to the playoffs, while the Buffalo Bills (5-10), New York Jets (6-9) and Miami Dolphins (7-8) struggled this year. The records are reflected in ESPN.com’s latest Power Rankings.

Here are this week's rankings for the AFC East:
  • No. 5: Patriots
  • No. 19: Dolphins
  • No. 23: Jets
  • No. 25: Bills

It's difficult to argue with any of these rankings. It was another mediocre year for the AFC East with the exception of the Patriots.

But New England has a chance to represent the division well in the playoffs next month and attempt to make it to the Super Bowl for the second consecutive year.
