Here are the most interesting stories Thursday in the AFC East:
The San Francisco 49ers, who have a boatload of draft picks, are reportedly considering a run at New York Jets star cornerback Darrelle Revis.
Morning take: The Jets have a ton of needs and can use quality picks from the 49ers. Unfortunately for the Jets, quarterback Alex Smith already is in the process of being shipped to Kansas City.
Former Miami Dolphins quarterback and draft bust Pat White wants to make an NFL comeback.
Morning take: White wasn't very good in Miami. But with the movement towards running quarterbacks, maybe a team will invite White to camp. But White is probably a long shot.
Buffalo Bills defensive end Chris Kelsay will retire.
Morning take: Kelsay spent nine years with Buffalo and had a solid career. A recent neck injury may have factored into the decision. The Bills also gain additional cap room.
What position will the New England Patriots draft in the first round?
Morning take: New England needs corners, safeties and receivers. But picking at No. 29 affords the Patriots the option to take the best available player. We will have more on the Patriots' draft later today.
