Here are the most interesting stories Tuesday in the AFC East:
New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft says he wants to play the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens in Week 1.
Morning take: The schedule will not be released until next month, but it makes sense to have a rematch of last year's AFC title game to open the season. Baltimore beat New England twice in 2012.
The Miami Dolphins are reportedly interested in free agent defensive end Osi Umenyiora.
Morning take: Umenyiora could be a good situational pass-rusher for Miami, but I'm not sure he's affordable. The Dolphins still have money to spend and are looking to add second-tier free agents.
The New York Jets signed linebacker Antwan Barnes to a three-year contract.
Morning take: New York keeps shopping for bargain talent. Barnes recorded just nine tackles and three sacks last season with the San Diego Chargers, but was productive two years ago. The Jets are counting on Barnes to return to his old form.
Former Buffalo Bills starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick signs with the Tennessee Titans.
Morning take: Fitzpatrick should get a chance to push Jake Locker in Tennessee. Former Titan Matt Hasselbeck also reportedly will sign with the Indianapolis Colts, leaving Buffalo with fewer quarterback options.
