Here are the most interesting stories Monday in the AFC East:
Trade talks between the New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers for Darrelle Revis could get going again soon.
Morning take: The NFL draft is near, which is a good time to make a blockbuster trade. Tampa Bay wants Revis and New York wants draft picks. A trade makes a lot of sense.
Are the New England Patriots finished at wide receiver after the Michael Jenkins signing?
Morning take: That shouldn’t be the case. The free-agent market is thin. But look for the Patriots to go do the draft to find at least one more prospect.
The Buffalo Bills will host a pre-draft visit with LSU cornerback Tyrann Mathieu.
Morning take: This is an interesting visit. Buffalo already has a similar player on its roster with Leodis McKelvin, who can also play on special teams. I can’t see Buffalo making a move for Mathieu considering the extra baggage.
Are the Miami Dolphins building a “great” team?
Morning take: It’s way too early to say, but Miami looks good on paper. But none of that matters unless the players and coaches can translate that on the field.
