Here are the most interesting stories Wednesday in the AFC East:
The New York Jets reportedly will meet with former University of Tennessee receiver Cordarrelle Patterson.
Morning take: Patterson is the top-rated receiver in the draft and could be an interesting target. New York needs weapons around whichever quarterback it chooses. But the team just drafted Stephen Hill in the second round last year.
Whom will the New England Patriots take in the first round?
Morning take: It always hard to predict the end of the first round. The Patriots, who select 29th, have several needs at wide receiver and in the secondary. New England could also trade down to collect more picks this year.
Should the Miami Dolphins take former Notre Dame tight end Tyler Eifert?
Morning take: I like the fit, but I don’t see Miami making this move. The Dolphins would essentially be giving up on 2012 draft pick Michael Egnew by having signed Dustin Keller and then drafted Eifert.
The Buffalo Bills hosted former Tennessee receiver Zach Rogers this week.
Morning take: Buffalo has to find a receiver at some point in this draft. Steve Johnson is the only proven receiving threat and the Bills need some young players to step up.
