The Buffalo Bills remain thin at linebacker just a few days before the NFL draft. However, the team will first look to free agency this week.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Bills are hosting former Miami Dolphins linebacker Karlos Dansby for a visit on Monday and Tuesday. Dansby was cut by Miami last month after the Dolphins signed linebacker Dannell Ellerbe in free agency. Dansby was a productive player in Miami but often criticized for not making enough big plays considering his large contract.
Dansby would be an upgrade for Buffalo at linebacker. But at what price? One reason Dansby is still available is probably due to his salary demands. The Bills have not spent a ton of money in free agency and will try to see if they can reach a middle ground with Dansby.
