Here are the most interesting stories Tuesday in the AFC East:
  • Miami Dolphins cornerback Brent Grimes says he's 100 percent recovered from Achilles surgery.
Morning take: Grimes has looked solid in organized team activities. But the grind of minicamp and training camp remains, and the Dolphins must be careful not to overwork Grimes heading into the regular season.
  • The New England Patriots are committed to tight ends Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez until 2019 and 2018, respectively.
Morning take: Both players are young, but their lengthy injury history makes it questionable if either player will be effective for that long. New England could have some tough decisions to make if the shelf life isn’t what the team expects.
  • Buffalo Bills head coach Doug Marrone was impressed with his first visit to St. John Fisher College, which will be the team’s home in training camp.
Morning take: I made my first trip last year and was impressed, as well. It is a good place for the Bills to get away and focus as a team on the task at hand.
  • Could New York Jets linebacker Antwan Barnes repeat his career-high 11 sacks of 2011?
Morning take: The Jets are hoping Barnes can bounce back after a sub-par 2012. Playing in New York head coach Rex Ryan’s attacking defense certainly will provide Barnes opportunities to get to the quarterback.
