Live from Dolphins training camp

July, 21, 2013
DAVIE, Fla. -- The 2013 football season is finally upon us in the AFC East. The Miami Dolphins are the first team to hit the practice field for training camp on Sunday. The rest of the division will follow suit within the week.

Yours truly is live at Dolphins headquarters this morning. I had a terrific two weeks of vacation, and now it’s time to get back to football.

Miami is the most intriguing team in the AFC East. The Dolphins spent more than $200 million in free-agent contracts and could be a formidable challenger for the New England Patriots in the division. But it all starts Sunday on the practice field, as second-year head coach Joe Philbin tries to get a strong Dolphins team on the same page.

We will have full coverage from Dolphins training camp later this afternoon in the AFC East blog. But if you can't wait and need live coverage from practice, feel free to follow me here on Twitter for instant insight and analysis as it is happening.
