FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Patriots coach Bill Belichick had his response ready when asked about the status of tight end Rob Gronkowski on Wednesday morning.
"We haven't practiced today. We've just been sitting in a meeting. He looks great sitting in a meeting," Belichick said.
Asked what a player like Gronkowski could bring to the team, Belichick paused briefly before repeating the question.
"We'll see. We'll see when we get him out there," he said, not wanting to get into details.
The Patriots are practicing this morning, and Gronkowski is expected to be on the field. The official injury/participation report will be released around 4 p.m. ET.
