Dolphins halftime notes: Wake produces

MIAMI -- The Miami Dolphins lead the Cincinnati Bengals, 10-3, at intermission.

Here are some notes at halftime:

  • It’s been an up-and-down half for Dolphins tailback Lamar Miller. In terms of yards, Miller had one of his best first halves of the season. He rushed for 89 yards on 11 carries. But Miller also lost a fumble in the second quarter that took points off the board. Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill got the only rushing touchdown in the first half.

  • Dolphins Pro Bowl defensive end Cameron Wake looks like his old self again. Wake suffered from a knee sprain earlier this season and has played less than 100 percent for a couple games. But Wake has been aggressive against the Bengals. He has three tackles, two sacks and a strip fumble against Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton that caused a turnover.

  • The struggles for Dolphins rookie kicker Caleb Sturgis continue. He missed another field goal wide left in the first quarter. Sturgis made a second-quarter attempt before halftime. He's missed five of his last seven attempts.

  • Miami guard Richie Incognito injured his neck in the first half and was replaced by backup Nate Garner. Incognito's return is questionable.
