FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The showdown between New England Patriots receiver Randy Moss and New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis has been fascinating.

Moss failed to make a reception on the first four attempts Tom Brady fired his direction, but they finally connected on a 4-yard touchdown play that was virtually impossible to defend.

Moss, split wide left, broke from the line and stuck out his left arm as though he were headed for the corner. Then Moss slipped inside Revis to catch a low ball that already was on its way. Moss hit the turf and made the catch to give the Patriots a 14-0 lead on the final play of the first quarter.
