The Patriots redid the deal for veteran nose tackle Vince Wilfork on Thursday, and they now have him signed through 2016, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

He's the latest cornerstone player whom the team has been able to lock up on a long-term deal. Below is a list of those Patriots who are under contract through at least 2016, excluding players on a rookie contract (such as Chandler Jones or Jamie Collins).

This group represents a snapshot of the veteran core of the Patriots roster:

Through 2016

CB Brandon Browner
G Logan Mankins
DE Rob Ninkovich
OT Sebastian Vollmer
NT Vince Wilfork

Through 2017
WR Danny Amendola
QB Tom Brady
WR Julian Edelman
LB Jerod Mayo

Through 2019
TE Rob Gronkowski
