Examining the Buffalo Bills' roster:
No changes here. Tuel and Lewis are battling for the No. 2 quarterback job, but I still think the Bills will keep three quarterbacks this season.
RUNNING BACKS (4)
No changes here. This is a deep group that is bolstered by the additions of Brown and Dixon.
No changes here. Still no spot for Evan Rodriguez, who could be one of the tougher cuts on the roster.
No changes here. The Bills have upped the reps for T.J. Graham in camp, including some time with the first team, yet his performance has still been inconsistent. He finds himself on the outside for this projection.
TIGHT ENDS (3)
No changes here. Chandler and Moeaki remain out with injuries, while Smith has also missed time. If they are all back and healthy for the regular-season opener, the Bills shouldn't need any other players here. If they aren't, then Chris Gragg should come into the picture.
OFFENSIVE LINEMEN (9)
No changes here. After he rotated with Urbik at right guard, Chris Hairston has seen time at left tackle with the second team. His versatility should help his case for a roster spot, but the Bills may not part with any of their three draft picks here, creating a squeeze on roster spots.
DEFENSIVE LINEMEN (8)
No changes. Corbin Bryant misses the cut here for a second consecutive week in the projection.
With Bradham suspended for the first game of the season, we'll give Gaines, an undrafted rookie, a roster spot. Bradham doesn't count against the 53-man limit until he returns in Week 2.
No changes here. McKelvin and Gilmore continue to be limited in team drills during practices, which has allowed Brooks to see playing time with the top unit. He intercepted Manuel in a 2-minute drill last week and continues to push for a roster spot.
No changes here. Plenty of youth but not a lot of experience. Depth is an issue.
No changes here. Moorman punted well in practice last week.
