DAVIE, Fla. -- The Miami Dolphins will work out veteran quarterback Rex Grossman on Monday, agent Drew Rosenhaus confirmed to ESPN.com.
Grossman, 33, was a backup with the Washington Redskins last season. He hasn't played in a game since 2011.
The Dolphins are struggling with quarterback injuries in training camp. Backup Matt Moore has a shoulder injury, and No. 3 quarterback Pat Devlin has a hamstring injury. Neither quarterback played in last week's preseason loss to the Atlanta Falcons .
Grossman has 54 career games and helped lead the Chicago Bears to a Super Bowl appearance following the 2006 season.
The Dolphins waived rookie free-agent quarterback Brock Jensen on Monday.
