Buffalo Bills fans are loving Perry Fewell.
In this week's edition of SportsNation's NFL head coach approval ratings, Fewell was ringing up a 79 percent as of Wednesday morning. Fewell has injected some energy into a team that had fallen into a malaise under the recently fired Dick Jauron.
FewellFewell narrowly missed out on a victory in his debut as Bills interim head coach, but tallied a convincing triumph in his next try Sunday over the Miami Dolphins.
Fewell's 79 percent led the AFC East and was tied for seventh in the league.
ESPN.com columnist LZ Granderson wrote about the impact Fewell has made already and states a case for him to get the job permanently.
New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick was at a surprising 71 percent after Monday night's debacle in New Orleans. He has had pulled down ratings of 44 percent (Week 2), 52 percent (Week 5) and 57 percent (Week 10).
Belichick came in at 71 percent last week after beating the New York Jets. I guess Patriots fans aren't too worked up over being butchered.
Jets rookie coach Rex Ryan was tied with defending Super Bowl champ Mike Tomlin at 59 percent.
Dolphins coach Tony Sparano was right behind at 58 percent, putting him 17th in the league.
