Looks like Dolfans finally have caught on to the remarkable job Tony Sparano has been doing.
Two weeks ago, the Miami Dolphins head coach registered a lukewarm 58 in SportsNation's NFL head coach approval ratings.
On Tuesday night, Sparano was tied with New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton for the highest rating in the NFL at 92 percent. Sparano ended last season with a 95 percent.
The Dolphins are 7-6 and have won four out of their past five games to remain viable in the AFC playoff hunt. They're just one game behind the New England Patriots for first place in the division.
All four AFC East coaches had decent ratings as of this posting.
New York Jets rookie coach Rex Ryan, on his second three-game win streak of the season, was 11th in the league at 75 percent.
Buffalo Bills interim coach Perry Fewell was 13th at 70 percent, having won two out of his past three for his on-the-job audition. Imagine how high his number will skyrocket if he knocks off the Patriots at home Sunday.
Patriots coach Bill Belichick, who survived a tough week by beating the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, was 20th in the league at 52 percent -- not a stellar number, but up 19 points from the week before.
