The Buffalo Bills have scheduled a 2:30 p.m. news conference, but have not indicated what it will be about.

For the club to summon the local media to One Bills Drive on New Year's Eve would suggest an important announcement, perhaps as significant as naming a general manager. The Bills also need a head coach since firing Dick Jauron and naming Perry Fewell the interim coach, but it's believed the Bills will hire a GM first.
