The AFC East can be found at each end of the spectrum in the latest edition of SportsNation's NFL coach approval ratings.
Miami Dolphins fans clearly love rookie head coach Tony Sparano, who leads the league with a 92 percent approval rating. Sparano has turned a 1-15 embarrassment into an 8-5 contender. The Dolphins are in a three-way tie with the New York Jets and New England Patriots atop the division.
At rock bottom is Buffalo Bills coach Dick Jauron, who once was feeling the love but now might rank alongside Brett Hull and Bryan Cox as the most hated sports personalities in Western New York.
Jauron is pulling down an 11 percent rating after the Bills were mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. Jauron registered a 95 percent rating after Weeks 3 and 4. He came in at 92 percent for Week 7.
Not that it's related, but George W. Bush's approval rating bottomed out at 19 percent this year. Richard Nixon's worst approval rating was 24 percent.
Jets coach Eric Mangini ranks 14th with 76 percent, a 15-point drop from two weeks ago. Patriots coach Bill Belichick ranks 16th with 64 percent.
