EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- George Wilson might have just saved the New York Jets' season.

Wilson, a Buffalo Bills safety, was caught holding to wipe out Leodis McKelvin's 100-yard kickoff return. The touchdown would have put the Bills ahead 27-24 early in the fourth quarter.

The Bills eventually punted on the possession.

With the Miami Dolphins winning at home against the San Francisco 49ers, the Jets need to polish off the Bills to remain tied for first place in the AFC East.

A couple Bills injury updates: Cornerback Terrence McGee returned to the game after experiencing back spasms and intercepted a Brett Favre pass. Rookie receiver James Hardy hasn't been seen since he went down with a knee injury in the first quarter.
