Randy Moss has as many drops as all of '09
ESPN Stats & Information tracks every NFL play and has determined New England Patriots receiver Randy Moss leads the league in drops.
Moss already has four, matching his total from last year.
Tom Brady has targeted Moss 18 times. Of the throws that were deemed on target, Moss had a 63.6 catch percentage.
Last year, Moss was targeted 138 times and had a 95.4 catch percentage.
It's amazing to think Moss is having trouble catching the ball this year when you consider the dazzling one-handed stab he made in Sunday's loss to the New York Jets.
Moss got behind Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis for a 34-yard touchdown strike in the second quarter. Moss used one hand to grab Brady's arcing pass and didn't even bring it in to his body.
But with Revis sidelined for the entire second half with a hamstring injury, Moss didn't have another catch.
