Jets a comfy road favorite over Lions
AccuScore is comfortable in two projections for the New York Jets: they'll score more points than they did last week, and they'll beat the Detroit Lions.
In 10,000 computer simulations, the Jets win 68 percent of the time (the second-largest number in the league of the week) by an average of 6.2 points.
But the Lions can improve their chances to 54 percent if Matthew Stafford can throw for at least two touchdowns and no more than one interception.
There's a 16 percent chance Mark Sanchez throws two or more interceptions. If he does, the Jets' likelihood of victory slips to 44 percent.
