AccuScore sees Jets at Browns as 50-50
I wouldn't have imagined this even a couple of weeks ago, but in AccuScore's 10,000 simulations, the New York Jets' matchup against the Cleveland Browns virtually is a coin flip.
The Browns' astounding performance at home against the New England Patriots certainly skewed the percentages. The Jets, meanwhile, are a couple of plays away from being on a three-game losing streak.
AccuScore's formula for the Jets is simple: Stop running back Peyton Hillis.
If he rushes for at least 75 yards and one touchdown, the Browns have a 67 percent chance to win. If he averages under 4 yards a carry, then the Jets' chances shoot to about 66 percent.
