Salutations from Foxborough, Mass.

By Tim Graham

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- ESPN is providing blanket coverage of Sunday's pre-postseason showdown between the Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots in Gillette Stadium.

I drove into Foxborough with AFC South raconteur Paul Kuharsky. ESPNBoston.com has an army of reporters and editors in the press box. Be sure to check out Mike Reiss' blog, which will include updates all day with assistance from Mike Rodak. ESPN's Rachel Nichols will be handling television coverage. Football Outsiders gadabout Aaron Schatz will provide his analytical musings.

Scouts Inc. analyst Matt Williams, Kuharsky and I will conduct a Countdown Live chat throughout the game.

ESPN Telegraph also will be Morse coding reports, and Twinkles, the star of ESPN Carrier Pigeon's fleet, also is waiting in the rafter to round out our comprehensive coverage.

The weather is playoff-quality, clear and brisk. The forecasted temperature for the 4:15 p.m. kickoff is 36 degrees and certainly will fall when the sun sets shortly thereafter.

For the two 1 p.m. AFC East kickoffs, look for ESPNNewYork.com reporter Rich Cimini's "Rapid Reaction" from the Houston Texans and New York Jets game at the Meadowlands. That game also offers an NFL Live chat with ESPNNewYork.com writers.

I will post the wrap-up of the Buffalo Bills at Cincinnati Bengals tilt.
