Vote for Week 16's High Energy player
This week's pick for High Energy performer should be simple.
One AFC East team won in Week 16. That should narrow the field considerably.
The New England Patriots beat the Buffalo Bills 34-3 in Ralph Wilson Stadium. Let's take a look at those candidates before we force one candidate from each of the other teams to keep the competition honest.
Patriots running back Danny Woodhead had 13 carries for 93 yards and one touchdown plus three receptions for 32 yards. He booked a game-high 125 yards from scrimmage.
Patriots rookie tight end Rob Gronkowski, a suburban Buffalo native, had four receptions for 54 yards and two touchdowns. He should have had a 77-yard touchdown catch when he broke free up the seam on New England's first offensive play of the game, but Tom Brady underthrew him.
New York Jets running back Shonn Greene ran 12 times for 70 yards and a touchdown with two receptions for 14 yards in a loss to the Chicago Bears.
In perhaps his last home game as a Miami Dolphin, running back Ronnie Brown had 12 carries for 37 yards and a touchdown plus six receptions for 34 yards in a loss to the Detroit Lions.
Bills running back Fred Jackson averaged 6.2 yards on 13 rush attempts and added two receptions for 11 yards.
As was the case last week with Patriots guard Dan Connolly, you're allowed to vote for a write-in candidate. Thank you in advance for participating.
