Greetingzzzzzz from Orchard Park

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- A snoozer of a game already has gotten less exciting.
A lot of first-stringers have been scratched from Thursday night's preseason finale between the Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions in Ralph Wilson Stadium. Not exactly a marquee matchup to begin with.
Bills quarterback Trent Edwards will not start, which strongly suggests he will not play at all. Ryan Fitzpatrick will get the nod.
Roscoe Parrish will start in place of Terrell Owens, who's expected to miss his fourth straight exhibition because of a toe injury. Owens practiced this week, but Bills coach Dick Jauron had said an Owens appearance as unlikely.
Jauron previously announced Bills running back Marshawn Lynch would not play. He's suspended for the first three games of the regular season. Dominic Rhodes will start instead.
The following players will not dress for the Lions:
But at least the weather is great. The sun is out and temperatures are in the upper 70s.
Maybe the sparse crowd who shows up will get to see Lions quarterback and No. 1 overall pick Matthew Stafford light it up with Calvin Johnson.
