Morning take: Barnett contributing again

By James Walker

Happy Thursday, AFC East community. This is the first of many "Morning takes," where we pick one story from each team we believe you should read before starting your day.

Here are the most interesting stories in the AFC East: Morning take: Barnett was a star with the Packers before injuries derailed him. Now 30, his experience is paying off for a Buffalo defense that only allowed seven points last week.
Morning take: There is mutual respect between Brady and Rivers. Both can put up huge numbers in a given week. With Brady on his "A" game and Rivers playing against the Patriots' pass defense, another shootout could be in the works.
Morning take: I firmly believe the quarterback has to be a natural leader to be successful. There's many ups and downs at the position. Sanchez seems to handle it well in a tough place to play.
Morning take: Miami is optimistic tailback Daniel Thomas and fullback Charles Clay can return from hamstring injuries Sunday against the Houston Texans. That should help Miami have more success running between the tackles. Quarterback Chad Henne (59 yards) led the team in rushing in the season opener.
