Bills are winless in Toronto
By James Walker
Playing in Toronto has failed to be a home-field advantage for the Buffalo Bills. Since agreeing to play in Canada in 2008, the Bills are 0-3 at the Rogers Centre.
Bills safety George Wilson recently complained that fan support isn't the same in Canada compared to Ralph Wilson Stadium. No surprise there.
But why have the Bills been so bad in their home away from home?
In Buffalo's three losses to the Chicago Bears (2010), New York Jets (2009) and Miami Dolphins (2008), the Bills didn't score more than 20 points. For whatever reason, Buffalo doesn't take its offense across the border.
It's also a product of Buffalo having bad teams. The Bills were 17-31 in that three-year span.
But this year could be different. The Bills are 4-2 and coming off a bye with two weeks to prepare. Buffalo is favored to beat the Washington Redskins (3-3), even if it isn't a true home game for the Bills.
