Poll: AFC East Player of the Week
By James Walker
Three AFC East teams were in action in Week 8. The division went 1-2 but had several standout performances.
So, who was the AFC East Player of the Week?
Reggie Bush of the Miami Dolphins had the second 100-yard game of his career and first with the Dolphins. Was Bush's 103-yard rushing effort enough in a loss to the New York Giants?
The Buffalo Bills improved to 5-2 thanks to a pair of good performances by Fred Jackson on offense and rookie Marcell Dareus on defense. Jackson rushed for 120 yards and added 74 receiving yards. Dareus set a new career-high with 2.5 sacks to go with four tackles.
The New England Patriots lost for just the second time this season to the Pittsburgh Steelers. But defensive end Andre Carter (five tackles, two sacks) and tight end Rob Gronkowski (seven catches, 94 yards) both had great games.
