QBR update: Matt Moore on a roll
By James Walker
Miami Dolphins quarterback Matt Moore put on the best performance in the AFC East this week, posting an NFL-best 98.2 Total Quarterback Rating in a 35-8 victory over the Buffalo Bills.
Tom Brady of the New England Patriots will play tonight against the Kansas City Chiefs. But even Brady will have a very hard time surpassing Moore's QBR.
Moore's numbers weren't off the charts. But he was very efficient, completing 14 of 20 passes for 160 yards and three touchdowns. This is the second time Moore posted a QBR of at least 97.7; he's had two of the NFL's top five QBR scores this season.
On the flip side, Mark Sanchez of the New York Jets and Ryan Fitzpatrick of the Buffalo Bills both posted low numbers. Fitzpatrick's QBR of 9.4 is embarrassingly low. Sanchez had a 35.5 QBR. Both quarterbacks presided over losing efforts.
