Poll Friday: Best team in AFC?

By James Walker

It's Week 13 and we have a four-way tie atop the AFC standings. Therefore, in our latest edition of "Poll Friday," we ask which team is the best in the AFC?

Is it the New England Patriots (8-3)? Quarterback Tom Brady is on fire and the Patriots are 3-1 in their past four games. They will win the AFC East again this year and have a cupcake schedule the rest of the regular season.

What about the Baltimore Ravens (8-3) or Pittsburgh Steelers (8-3)? These two AFC North powers have beaten a lot of good teams and are a tough matchup. Baltimore and Pittsburgh both have great defenses with the potential to shut down any offense. Pittsburgh did a good job of that when it beat New England, 25-17, in Week 8.

Or is the best team in the AFC the surprising Houston Texans (8-3). They lost their top two quarterbacks and continue to win. The primary reason is Houston has the NFL's No. 1 defense.

Using our SportsNation poll, vote on the best team in the AFC. You can also share your thoughts in the comment section below.
