Morning take: Is Philbin the right choice?

By James Walker

Here are the most interesting stories Saturday morning in the AFC East: Morning take: It's too early to tell. First-year head coaches can be hit or miss. I thought Philbin and Mike McCoy were pretty much a toss-up. But the difference-maker, in my opinion, is whether Philbin can recruit Matt Flynn to join the Dolphins next season.
Morning take: This is a wise move by Ryan, but it’s in his DNA. I’m not sure how easy it will be to bite his tongue next season.
Morning take: The Rutgers alums spent time together in the offseason. McCourty is going through a sophomore slump but could really help New England with a big postseason performance.
Morning take: Continuity is important, and the Bills have been under the same program for a while. Perhaps playing against coaches in their first year with the team will give the Bills a chance to win a few extra game.
