MIAMI -- There could be some interesting conditions this afternoon in Dolphin Stadium.
The sun is peeking through some dark, heavy clouds with a couple dozen San Diego Chargers and Miami Dolphins loosening up for the 1 p.m. kickoff. The forecast calls for a high of 85 degrees with a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms.
Now that the Florida Marlins are done playing, Dolphin Stadium laid down grass over the infield. The Florida State Seminoles and Miami Hurricanes played on the fresh turf Saturday night in a monsoon.
The field has a remarkable drainage system and appears to be in great shape, but two wet games in 18 hours could affect the footing.
